The Limes is a residential and dementia care home situated in the pretty Lincolnshire village of Scopwick.
Scopwick is located in between Lincoln and Sleaford and is a scenic village allowing our residents to benefit from its picturesque views, tranquility, nature and serenity.
The Limes is a single storey home allowing our residents easy access to all areas. We have wide corridors, large adapted bathrooms and WC’s. The Home has 34 single bedrooms, 16 of which are en-suite.
We also have a large enclosed garden, a large dining room and two communal lounges, one of which has an adjoining conservatory which leads out into the garden.
All communal areas have been decorated to promote a comfortable homely environment so that residents, staff and visitors will immediately feel safe and at home.

We are a family owned care home and have been in the care industry for over twenty years. We understand the importance of care and have given personal care ourselves to family members and loved ones, thus we understand the importance of giving good care, the difficulties involved but also the immense privilege it is to provide care.
We ensure that our staff also follow this principle and place the welfare of our residents as our primary objective, making the well-being and happiness of our residents our priority.
Our staff are extremely important to us and the welfare of our staff is secondary only to the welfare of our residents. We recognise that the staff play an important role in the residents’ well-being; we therefore ensure that we employ sufficient numbers to meet the residents’ needs and employ suitably qualified staff.
Many of our staff have been with us for a number of years as we recognise the importance of staff continuity for the stability of the home and the residents. Any new staff are vetted carefully to ensure the safeguarding of our residents and receive an on-going supervision process to ensure they continue to meet the high standards of care that are required at The Limes.
All care staff are required to achieve at least NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care. Any staff recruited without NVQ 2 will be supported through a training programme to achieve this minimum required level. Staff members who want to achieve a higher level of qualification are encouraged to do so and many of our senior staff have progressed from more junior positions within the home.
