I submit my experience for review and consideration for Captain positions. I am a seasoned and experienced pilot, with a total of more than 19.000 hours flight time, comprised of 5,700 as First Officer and 12.000 as Captain. I also hold ICAO JAR-FCL (A) ATPL, ME, IR with additional type ratings and a current JAR Class 1 Medical Certificate. I am type rated and current on the A319/320/321 and A330 . My other type ratings include B757, B767, DASH8 and I am TRI/TRE on A320 and A330 and Senior Examiner. My flying career began in the role of F/O on DASH8 at Contact air, followed by F/O on the same type at Hamburg Air. I then joined LTU in 1989 where I started as a F/O on B757/767 and in 1996 I was promoted to Captain on the same type and in 2001 began flying A320 as Captain. I am currently employed with Air Berlin as a Check Pilot on A319 and A320. I am also an instructor for Air Berlin on line and flight training as well as full motion simulator and delivery pilot for Airbus. Additionally I am involved in the development of training syllaby for the company. I have more then 4500 hours experience as instructor. Prior to my flying career, I earned my Masters Degree in German language and Biology and was employed as a teacher. I have a vast expanse of knowledge and experience on domestic as well as international routes in Europe, North and South America, Canada, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. My qualifications include ETOPS and CATII and CATIII. I am flexible, highly self motivated and customer orientated. Beyond the flying job I am also interested in additional work in the office.
