Candidate Details
How can I be of service to your company using my skills and personality? This letter will only begin to describe some of the qualifications I possess with respect to 11,700 hours in aviation (@35 years) including 2200 hours PIC on the Global Express in numerous worldwide environments. I have also been a line check Captain on the Global Express for 5 years and a simulator-training captain for 2 years. Competent, confident personal and professional skills make up the core of my abilities. I am presently a Global Express Captain under JAR-EASA rules. I have been consistently employed in this capacity for the past 10 years. My currency on the Global Express is valid until June 2015. I possess both a Canadian and EU passport making visa requirements to many countries unnecessary from your operational standpoint. My Russian and Kazakhstan visas are still valid. I hold 3 ATPL licenses EASA, FAA, and ICAO with the Global Express type rating. Completing my 14 JAR exams in 2006 with an overall 90% grade implies a degree of intelligence. In addition I have established excellent communication skills essential in developing good relationships with owners and operators around the world. Working abroad on a variety of changing operations is something that I am also personally well suited to as my social skills are excellent and I have already lived, and travelled, in many parts of the world. A quick background look into my past reveals that I gained initial airline experience operating scheduled long haul flights to Asia, Europe, and all of the Americas. I operated into so many busy airports to date that it has become a blur. Prior to that my B-737 experience covered North America and the Caribbean. Rewinding the clock further my first commercial pilot job started at age 18+, from the rugged seaplane environment of Northern Ontario to the harsh conditions of Arctic Canada. I started flying at the age of 16. ….the experiences continue. Furthermore, I have partaken in annual Cockpit Resource Management implementing their benefits into my flying abilities and personality skill set. I also attended an Employee Quality Service course enhancing my communication with customers, and inter-company personnel. Annually each May, I complete a Dangerous Goods and First Aid course with my present company. With many years of aviation potential still ahead of me, I am seeking to find that position which better matches my needs and desires. As important as all the above measures of ability, I work very well with others in a team environment. I am a great communicator and carry with me a “suitcase full of humour" allowing me to deal with all of life’s issues. Being raised a Canadian, and having travelled the world, has allowed me to integrate exceptionally well within any culture. I welcome the opportunity to get to know yours. In order to support my claims, and to know that there has not been a failed challenge in my past career, I would welcome an interview at any time, at your convenience.
