I am writing to you to apply for the First/Second Officer position. My goal is to secure my first deck employment. I have been lucky to be able to invest in what has always been my dream; becoming a pilot. I am highly motivated and determined to fulfill it. I did my Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Sciences with an integrated ATPL(A) course which not only did it teach me how to become a pilot but also provided me with an extensive knowledge of how the world of aviation works as well as the responsibilities that come with a position of this nature. Sports has always played an important role in my life from which I acquired personal skills as well as a broad understanding of chain of command and how crucial it is when achieving a common goal. As a team captain for several years I learnt how to manage relationships within the team which consequently made me a better team member and a better man. I am very organized, methodical, enthusiastic, honest, respectful and can easily adapt to all sort of environments and circumstances. I am a rather civilized person who always tries to proceed by the rules. My mother tongue is Portuguese and I can speak Spanish and English fluently. At the moment I am working as a real estate agent, in order to pay for a type-rating if needed. I would appreciate the opportunity to expand on any of the above.
