I am writing to express my high motivation to take a new leap in my career by making a transition from commercial airliners to corporate jets, thereby following my childhood dream of becoming a business jet pilot. I hope that I can realize my dream. My qualifications include: • Current position – First Officer on CRJ1000 (since 07/2013) • Previous position – First Officer on CRJ900 (04/2012-07/2013) • Professional Higher Education (Aircraft Piloting) • Type Rating on CRJ100 (CL65) with 900hours on CRJ900; 550hours on CRJ1000 • 1650hours total flight time; 250hours as PIC Having flown on the business jet based CRJ100 series from small to some of the busiest airports in Europe and to challenging destinations in South-East Asia has granted me with a variety of practical skills towards becoming a notable candidate for A First Officer position. While flying with the best pilots of the country lay a great foundation and understanding of European aviation, working for a Sky Team member has been a tremendous global eye-opener. The challenging approaches and unexpected weather and aerodrome conditions (especially in South-East Asia) have formed me into always being focused and well prepared. I value professionalism, teamwork and safety and I take a lot of pride in working individually to improve my knowledge. In addition, I consider myself to be a very good communicator with a wide range of interests and a pleasant sense of humour. I am confident that my experience and understanding of the technology and design of the Bombardier aircrafts will help me make a smooth transition.
