Candidate Details
I am 28 years old and since 2011 I work as a Pilot previously on a Bombardier, now on a Gulfstream G150. After 8 years ground school, I have visited a school for higher technical education for architecture and art, where I passed the school leaving examination with high grade in June 2006. In October 2006 I got the conscription call for the Austrian Army, where I worked as a paramedic and soldier for 6 months . Thereafter I started working as a technician in an architectural office until September 2007. After completion of my airline pilot training in 2009, I worked again as technician as well as a passenger service agent at the Vienna International Airport. In May 2010 i moved from Vienna to Bregenz, where I started working in Luftfahrt GmbH, at first as crewplanner and operations officer, then as a First Officer on a Bombardier Q300. After 3 years of flying based at Luftfahrt GmbH, I decided to change to my actual company, to start work as a Commander on a Gulfstream G150. In my spare time, I like to go skiing, biking and swimming. My strengths are accuracy, flexibility, reliability, the ability to work in a team and the willingness to study. In addition to my native language German I speak English fluently and I also have basic knowledge in French and Italian. In 2005 I decided become a paramedic at the Austrian red cross. I started my training in February 2005 and finished in March 2006 as an certified paramedic. The training was based on a practical and a theoretical part. The whole apprenticeship took about 300 hours. Thereafter I had approximately two voluntary services per week. This time was a very interesting and informative experience in my life. Flying Career: When I was 16 years old I fortunately had the opportunity to make my glider pilot licence at Innsbruck Airport. During this time I saw a lot of wonderful places and situations, and finally I realised that this is the job I have ever dreamed of. From October 2007 until January 2009 I visited the AeronautX flight training organisation in Linz/Hörsching (Austria), where the education was a modular ab-initio programme starting with my privat pilot licence. The theoretical ATPL (A) examination was passed successfully on 30 January 2009. In March 2011 I passed my Typerating for the Bombardier Q300 at Flight Safety Toronto. A few days later I had my practical training on the aircraft and in April 2011 I started with my first line flights. All ensuing licence and operators proficiency checks I did at CAE Systems in Madrid. From 2011 until 2014, I am worked as a First Officer, from 2014 till now as a Commander and currently I am holding an airline transport pilot licence EASA-ATPL (A), a valid Gulfstream G150 typerating for CAT I approaches, a MCC Course as well as all further relevant trainings. Non flying job: Before and after my airline pilot training, I worked as a Technician in an architectural office. I had the opportunity to work on very interesting projects like concert halls, museums or privat buildings. My duties were to assist the architects and also working on my own. I designed technical details on the computer, but I monitored the work on the construction site as well. Thereafter I worked at the Vienna International Airport as Passenger Service Agent for Austrian Airlines. My daily business was: - check-in of passengers, - assistance for incoming passengers, - boarding of the aircraft - working in the service center When I started working for InterSky, I first worked in the operations and crewplanning office for 10 months. My duties were the planning oft he scheduled flightplans, to dispose the crew members in case of illness and the troubleshooting, when an aircraft had a technical defect. I also did the fuelling calculation for the aircrafts. Dedication/Professionalism: The function of a pilot is connected with a lot of responsibility and this is exactly the reason for my major motivation. I know that I am able to bear this responsibility and that I will fulfil the imposed tasks in all conscience. The wonderful thing of aviation is that it is a living material and you always have to educate yourself to broaden your horizon and to improve your knowledge. In my opinion there is no Professionalism without Dedication to your job.
